I watched Thor all set to ship Thorki, shipping goggles on as tight as I could, and I came out of it shipping...nothing. Which was kind of disappointing because I really wanted to ship Thorki (it has such good fanart...).

you've seen Avengers though right? A lot of people hopped on the Thorki train after seeing their interaction in Avengers. Thor is just so mushy towards Loki lol

The repeated "PLEASE COME HOME WE ALL MISS YOU I MISS YOU" saddened me so much, Thor sounded so earnest.

I know, and his eyes were always so shiny with tears ;_; Thor and Loki spend that entire movie staring into each others' teary eyes like long-lost soul-mates.

I think what got me was how many times Thor grasped the side of Locki's face and willed him to believe his honesty - it was so sincere!

Very much not a Thorki shippers - I love them as bros - but I do enjoy the fanart, anyway. A little sad that most of the best Thor fanart is for Thorki and not much going around for other ships, but hey, it's still good art and still enjoyable (and most of it I can look at with super-affctionate!bros goggles, anyway).
