Me too, actually. I love both Thor and Loki to bits, and I just really want them to sort things out. In a non-sexual way. I think it's because their fight doesn't remind me of a lover's spat at all, it's a very family thing that I can relate to.

That's how I feel about it. I love the family fic out there about them, even though that's a theme I don't tend to seek out.

Yeah, this. The fight is so specifically familial with such timeless sibling rivalry mainstays, so completely unlike failed romances, that it such removes so many dimensions for me if it's portrayed as romance *shrugs*
