I'm about to turn 35 this year and I'm still in fandom and loving it. I didn't get into fandom until later than a lot of people, in my mid-twenties as opposed to my teenage years and such, so it irritates me when people seem to think that once they get in their twenties that they're 'too old' for it. Fandom has been around for a long, long time, and I know that there's a lot of people much older than me that are still involved in it.

Like other have said, there's some aspects of it that I'm not so interested in any more, like going to conventions, but I still enjoy reading/writing fic even though I may not be as voracious about it as I used to be.

I do find some humor in people who are freaking out because they're in their twenties and think that their 'fandom life' is over, but it kind of bothers me too.
