When people use 'Y'all' as singular. I've actually stopped watching shows because they did that too.

So like, people writing it as 'Yall' rather than 'Y'all'; or, is it 'Y'all' rather than 'You all'?

Genuinely curious.

Not that I have any fandoms whose characters have accents, but if I did...

I think Anon means using "y'all" instead of "you" toward one person. "Y'all" (you all) is meant to refer to more than one person. It's like referring to yourself alone as "us" instead of "I" or "me".

And of course, the plural of "y'all" is "all y'all". :P

"Y'all" is plural. "All y'all" and "y'alls" refer to larger groups from which "y'all" is a subset.
