Having seen the movie, YES. This works for me. Except for the part where Fury gets super powers. I can't help but feel that he would have better things to do. But Silken Floss is totally a nonsense name Black Widow would love.

If it wasn't for the cat scene that makes it impossible for me to watch this movie... this would've my new head canon

Now I feel less bad for enjoying this movie. It's terrible, yes, and so offensive at times it hurts, but I laughed throughout the movie and had a good time watching it anyway...

Ooh, now I actually want to watch this movie with that idea in mind. I think it might make it kinda funny.

OMG the idea of Nick Fury just going all out to play the Octopus to the hilt and indulge in Raul-Julia-as-M.-Bison levels of hamfisted batshittery just because he has an excuse to is....amazing. What about his eye, though?
