LJ vs DW

Gaaaah I hate it when my friends crosspost on DW and LJ, keep bitching that LJ sucks ass and they hate it but still only user LJ for commenting and they make no effort to complete their migration to DW. Seems a tad bit hypocritical and it makes me irrationally aaaangry.

I crosspost and I try to comment from DW whenever possible. Sometimes it's a lot easier to comment on LJ, you know? Like when my friend's friends are mostly on LJ and the discussion's bigger there, or when I'm already logged in on LJ for something and I end up commenting to everyone on LJ :/

LJ does suck, compared to what it was years ago (and even then, things were not so good).
the main problem is... everybody is still there, especially communities, which are the main reason why most users keep using it.
if communities started to migrate and moved here, many things would change.
and let's not forget those people on your friends list who decided they won't move away from LJ ever, even if it's turning into a huge pile of...
so yeah, it's a bit hypocritical, but some people just don't wanna lose all contacts with their friends who will stick with LJ only

A lot of people didn't make the move over to DW so I appreciate the cross posting. LJ is pretty dead but I don't have enough friends on DW for me to ever use an account here, all my friends are either on tumblr or facebook now (which I hate because communicating on tumblr is annoying.)
