And how much of a strict diet of only flavorless baked chicken and steamed vegetables they had to be on.

Sure, they look good but, man, what a pain it had to be in order to look that good.

I get so annoyed whenever interviews ask actors how they got into shape, because it's always the same boring answer. "Oh wow, you ate right and exercised daily? HOW SURPRISING."

And sometimes the interviewer sticks to the subject for far too long and ends up sounding creepily obsessed with the actor's personal health. >_>

But it's such a hardship to eat right and exercise daily! Don't you know?

Man, I love flavorless baked chicken. I might have to try that diet.

Because healthy food is flavorless and steamed vegetables taste bad. Thoughts like these are why there is such an obesity epidemic.

Well, yes, baked chicken is flavorless and steamed vegetables are dreary as fuck, how dare people think these things, which are simple facts.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-22 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
A healthy diet doesn't have to be "flavorless," and a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to be "a pain."

(Anonymous) 2012-10-22 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
Shhh you'll mess up their attempts to excuse themselves from eating healthy.

y hello thar automat

I don't know why claiming any opinion is that one similar to someone I guess you disagree with is a thing.

I don't know where you're getting that. When actors bulk up/slim down for a job, it's done much faster than when ordinary people do it for their own benefit. These actors' methods are not always healthy.

But that this is what the actors have said when they have to bulk up. They are always put on a baked chicken and steamed veggies plan.
