The two Trickster books are my favorites, right up there with the Wild Mage books. I bought Terrier but I didn't like it very much. I don't know why. I'm interested in the backstory and I've liked diary format stories before but... I just don't know. I haven't read Bloodhound or Mastiff and tbh I don't really feel like reading them.

I hope the new Circle books will be better. The characters are older than Beka and they already have established characterization. It can't be that bad, right?

Oh they can. I love Tammy's writing, and as far as I've seen she hasn't completely left characterization behind...but I've seen other author's end up completely losing characterzation after building it up. So they can, as much suck as that is.
