How are secrets posted?

(Anonymous) 2012-10-21 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm really confused by the posting system. I submitted a few secrets, back to back, and two of them were posted on separate posts (the newer one before the older one) and now today my last one wasn't included. Is it more of a pick & choose sort of a thing? Or are there really that many secrets that get submitted that it truly could have been pushed back another day? Not upset, just confused.

→ What determines which secrets get posted when? ←

We take the total number of secrets for the week then divide by 7, and that's the number that gets posted daily. Also, they are not posted in order: we go through them picking at random, so it's not like one person that submitted 10 secrets in a row or something gets a whole post to themselves ('cause that'd be pretty boring, don't you think?).

this was from a couple of years ago tho

and did you check the links at the bottom? like, the one from today says

Secrets Not Posted: [ 0 - broken links ], [ 0 - not!secrets ], [ 0 - not!fandom ], [ 0 - too big ], [ 0 - repeat ], [ 1 - posted twice ].

maybe your missing secret got sorted in there and you missed it
