I suspect because there may be some subtle Freudian message hidden deep within that image and OP is subconsciously trying reach for its secret meaning. OP assumes the more they see this picture IRL, the closer they will get to the truth.

I love Stephanie Hans and I think the actual cover is pretty damn epic/foreboding, but this one is just pretty.
