I used to get my music a lot through google and mediafire. Not so much these days, thanks to Megaupload getting taken down. :(

If you go on Tumblr, get greasemonkey and search for songs. It's what I do.

Eh, I don't like downloading songs by themselves. I've always been an album-oriented person and I lament their decline.

Torrenting albums is like the easiest thing? It usually takes about five minutes to download even pretty obscure stuff through torrents.

I try to avoid torrenting music if I can help it -- partially out of paranoia, partially out of a stubborn notion that I can find it on google.

I have one or two private trackers that I make use of sometimes though, if I absolutely have to.

Try filestube.com. It's a pretty good link hosting site, and it usually has links to freakshare, rapidgator, and megashares, all of which are very good.

No it doesn't. Some of the pretty obscure stuff doesn't get posted through torrents or the torrents die too quickly.
