Based on Secret #14...predictions for your fandom?

Anyone have any predictions about what the future of the unfinished fandoms you're in might hold? Ever theorized about what plot points might get introduced, what couples will be endgame, how long it will go on, if it'll be terrible or mediocre or awesome, and what the last installment/season finale might be like?

Dragon Age 3 will be another case of Bioware writers thinking they have something deep to say about the human condition, so they'll beat you over the head with it in cut-scene after cut-scene of bathos.

There is no third option! I mean...

Yeah, I doubt it will change unless the lead guy switches out. Didn't he say he didn't believe in happy endings or something?

Mine is less a prediction of the canon and more a prediction of the fandom.

There will be a Mass Effect 4. (The only thing I could predict about the canon is that it will be even more sexist than 3.)

Fandom, before the game comes out, will condemn it. There will be a small minority telling people to wait until it comes out but most will say things like, "It's just Bioware fishing for our money," "I won't play unless I'm Shepard," "I won't play unless it has nothing to do with Shepard," "It better rewrite ME3's ending," "It's going to be horrible because of EA. Look at what they did to Dragon Age 3," and so forth.

Then when the game comes out everyone will buy it.
