This is kind of like how I can't watch movies with any sort of special effects because I immediately think, "OH HEY THIS WAS DONE WITH A MODEL/ANIMATRONIC ROBOT/COMPUTER."

I'm sorry, anon. I hope that someday your brain will learn to ignore that sort of thing, because that just sounds kind of depressing.

(no way I worded this made it sound like I wasn't being facetious. It is not meant as anything but genuine, and I honestly think it sounds kind of unfortunate to not be able to separate from reality that way. Then again, maybe you're ok that way, and I should shut up...)

After working on a bit of animation/modeling myself, I basically admire almost all CG effects. Everyone else would be like this sucks, this looks terrible, and I'll be like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THIS IS AMAZING LOOK AT HOW MUCH BETTER THEY'RE DOING THAN ME. Granted, they have access to more professional resources than I do, but the starting level's just too different.
