The comments got changed into a really ugly system and was much more difficult to use, as well as making posting anon a pain in the ass. They also took away comment headers, which is literally one of the top two reasons fandomsecrets is now on Dreamwidth.

I guess some people left but a lot of journal styles were unaffected, including mine, so I never bothered. Way too much hassle. This all happened a little less than a year ago, I think. The switch to Dreamwidth was later than that, though.

there are comment/thread titles now... I think all of the things listed that were wrong with lj have been fixed or adapted now.

except for maybe posting anon with the old style.

um, I'm pretty sure the style with comment/thread titles have no time stamps, which was one of the reasons it was vetoed when case tried it before
