My only complaint is that I wish the Avengers would potentially cameo in each others' movies.

Okay, specifically, I wish that Bruce was going to be in Iron Man 3. I don't have a lot of interest in a Hulk movie, even with Ruffalo, but seeing Bruce hanging out in Stark/Avenger Tower? That'd be nifty.

Heck, it feels like in any specifically Iron Man movie, we should still see moments of the other Avengers, if only because Tony's got that tower all set up.

Sigh. The movies are going to come and mess with the wonderful "and then Tony adopted everyone because that is how Tony makes friends" fanon.

Oh, I seriously doubt that the fandom that looked at a spear through Coulson's chest and went "haha no" is gonna give a rat's ass what the sequels mess up :D

It would actually be kinda funny if Pepper keeps teasing Tony all through IM3 for being so earnest about that big tower plan he was drawing up at the end of The Avengers and then being too Tony-ish to actually work up the nerve to invite anyone over. I mean, "The Avengers HQ is in Tony's place" is such a famous part of the comics team that no way is it just gonna totally disappear.

Hah. Avengers fandom is a thing of beauty. (We were right about Coulson! HAHAHA!!! *cue maniacal laughter*)

Oh, I'd love to see that happen with Pepper and Tony. What, Tony having terrible social skills covered by extravagance? Le gasp! :) It'd be kinda nifty if they were yanking us a bit about "no, Bruce isn't in this one!" and then in an after-credit sting he shows up all bedraggled at the Tower asking if he could crash on the couch.

BTW, wanna rec me any "everyone moves into the tower" fic? It's one of my favorite tropes in the fandom but so much of my stuff is hopelessly lost among the tides of fanfic that I never bothered to bookmark because for someone I thought I'd be able to find it later. May was a very naive time for me.

man I agree about the cameos (yes, especially Bruce)! I mean, it's easy to explain why Thor isn't around or whatever but the others would probably still be on Earth working together!
