ugh mte on Joss... I'm hoping that his handlers will keep him in check because he seems like he'd be more than happy to take this whole universe off the rails.

And also agreeing about the need to make reference to the events of Avengers and the other characters. I think they can manage that pretty easily, since they've done it well enough so far with off-hand references to Stark Industries (and Tony) and SHIELD and whatnot in the other movies.
