I disagree with you, OP. I, for one, can't wait to see Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed (Simonson's run, yo!).

That, and if Malekith becomes a fandom darling, I'll enjoy the wankfest that's sure to come (if Loki is any indication).

I'd pass on either a Widow or Hawkeye flick, but it would be great if they make cameos on the upcoming liveaction show with Coulson.

IDC how messy Thor 2 seems atm, there are so many questions re: Loki and Thor and Asgard and so many possibilities for awesome and moar worldbuilding epicness that I was excited for it as soon as it was confirmed.

And ECCLESTON. Eccleston plus Simonson-riffing were just the kill-me-now-because-this-is-too-much-amazeballs twin cherries on top. It might not be a good movie, but I don't think it can be anything other than a godsend for the fandom.
