OH I KNOW.

I am sick to death of posts on tumblr about "seeing this pairing is SO TRIGGERING, I'm going to defriend you if you post about it!" (And no, it's not, say, triggering because it pairs a rapist with their victim or something. It's "I ship [non-canon] A/B, so if I EVER see [canon] B/C or A/D, I AM SO OPPRESSED."

Or responding to a request of "Hey, I see that [non-canon pairing] is really popular in [fandom]. Can anyone explain why? I don't hate it or anything, I just don't understand how it got so popular," with a 100% serious "Check your privilege! Fuck you for thinking that the oppressed minority fans of this pairing owe you an explanation. It's not my job to educate you!"
