Ditto that. I'm fairly good at converting between military time and AM/PM due to our software often having things listed in 24 hour times, but I still have to pause to realign mentally.

I've always converted it by "13:00 = 1pm, so hour+2 = military time." It makes sense to me in my head, that way I can quickly go 7:32? well that 19:32 military.

I find converting everything into the most basic of maths is the best way to go. Nice and easy to remember!

Glad I could help. :D

da

I do this too. I just take or add 2 depending on which way I'm converting.

If it's pass 1200 all you need to do is minus 1200. So, if the clock reads 1830, minus 1200 and you'll get 630 or 6:30.

I've gotten better after spending some time in Europe, but there are certain numbers that are easier for me to remember. 15h, 18h, 20h are especially instinctive for me, but the others vary.
