(Anonymous) 2012-10-23 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)And...I dunno what part of fandom you hang around in, but almost all the Pepper-hate I've seen just comes from militant Steve/Tony shippers who are convinced Pepper secretly wants Tony to be totally normal and stop being Iron Man and is only with him because she thinks she can change him, and/or try to make out like her missing Tony's phone call at the climax of the Avengers shows that she's not right for Tony and is symbolic of how she don't ~understand him deeply or something.
