Re: Is your favorite character in a fandom also the one you're the most obsessed with/interested in?
In Avengers, Natasha is my favorite but Thor is the one I'm most obsessed with. In Potter, my favorite character is Neville (or possibly Minerva), but I'm most obsessed with Lucius and I tend to read mostly Harry-centric AUs.
A big part of it is attraction. I don't base who my favorite is on who I find most attractive, but I do tend to read more fics about the ones I'm attracted to. Part of it is that who my favorites are change so often I have less fics for them.
