I'm too scared to post my obscure canon fic. Like I just imagine someone getting really excited that there's fic out there for a non-existent fandom, but then my fic disappoints them because it's not what they're looking for.

Realistically no1curr but it just seems easier to hide it for eternity rather than post it. <_<

Oh god, that too. Those fandoms where you're thrilled to find that there are three whole fics! And they all completely stink! And you are heartbroken!

No one wants to be the person who wrote the three stinky fics. :(

If it's one of my tiny fandoms, I get excited and love you even if it's not at all what I wanted. Because tiny fandom I love getting love! Yay!

Yeah, I know what you mean. It even makes me really nervous that for this one tiny fandom I write for I could easily be the first hit on google if the author was to ever get curious about whether people were writing fanfic for her books. Like the idea of the creator somehow stumbling upon my fic doesn't normally make me nervous, but when it seems like such a high possibility...

Haha, I know what you mean. On the one hand, I always want to help put more fic out there for those fandoms, but on the other, I don't want to be that person who's known for writing the crappy fic. A lot harder to get lost in the crowd in small fandoms.
