I agree with the second part of the secret. Pepper is just as badass as Peggy in her own way, and I adore her to pieces.

But not the first part. I actually thought they were pretty damn epic, and they had great chemistry and were very well written. I don't have to 'move on' from her if I don't want to, especially since it's not like Steve has another canon love interest in the movies yet or something...? So it's not like some other canon pairing in MCU is getting ignored in favor of it. And really the StevexPeggy fandom is TINY compared to the Clintasha and Pepperony fandoms, so it's not like it's 'overshadowing' anything (except maybe Thor/Jane).

And yes I WOULD like to see closure with her and have Steve see her one last time. What is wrong with that? I just want them to have their dance, whether she's ninety or not. It doesn't mean that I'm proposing that she should have been sitting around and pining for Steve the rest of her life. It's just appropriate closure for the relationship.

As for people who want 'fix it' fics and stuff. Hell yes I do. Because I think they're a great match, and it breaks my heart that they were torn apart.

I have to agree with you. I really liked their relationship in the movie. It had a good buildup for only being in one movie while Tony/Pepper got two.

Also, I don't really think those two relationships can compare. They involve completely different people in completely different circumstances.
