(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 01:42 am (UTC)(link)Yup. My aunt used to be the PA of a CEO. The CEO died. My aunt is now the PA of the new CEO.
At minimum, Pepper would have been asked to stay to help with the transition to a new CEO and that CEO's PA, so walking out the instant Tony vanished would make no sense. In fact, it would reflect poorly on her work ethic, since her leaving suddenly would probably cause a lot of trouble for other people at Stark Industries.
