I don't recall the writer claiming that they had no desire for recognition, or that they were only writing for themselves, either. I'm always annoyed by people who chide writers for wanting their work to be read on the ground that unless you're writing purely for yourself, your creativity isn't pure enough or some shit like that. But it's particularly ironic coming from an attention-greedy troll.

And for the record I absolutely don't think there's anything wrong with a writer wanting feedback/recognition. I don't really get why people would post if they didn't want some kind of reaction/interaction.
