I am tired of Sterek too and I like the characters. I wish more people would focus on the horror aspects of the show. I would love to read some actually scary fic or see some creepy fanart.

How scary is it? I was thinking of getting into it, but then the fandom kind of turned me off. I love horror. <3

It doesn't start off scary but quickly turns into like an 80's monster movie, like Lost Boys or An American Werewolf in London. Yes, there is some humor but it's dark humor.

Then watch the series. It has the same feel. A huge 80's throwback. That's how I got hooked. Because I am HUGE 80's monster movie fan.

Jeff Davis (the creator) actually mentioned The Lost Boys as an influence, and I think you can definitely see it in some places. It's got some decent practical effects, too, even if the CGI is kind of terrible in season 1.
