I hit the kudos button whenever the fic doesn't completely suck. It is a little annoying to see a terrible fic with 3 million kudos, and I would totally give un-kudos if I could, but I'm glad I can't Fandom doesn't need extra pettiness.

Exactly this. It's the same reason thumbs down buttons aren't common everywhere; people should not have their asshole tendencies sanctioned by the site.
