maybe it does upset him. people have said terrible things to him via twitter, and fandom has made it obvious at times that they don't like his character. the internet isn't just 'the internet'.

i am sure Posey has heard all his life about his jaw. it could be something he is self-conscious about or not. we don't know.

THIS. I can't stand it when people think that actors/musicians/etc. are fair game to poke fun at for their looks/weight/etc. because "they're asking for it by being in the public eye". They're still PEOPLE, just because they got a job that requires a larger spotlight than others doesn't make them any less human.

He signed up to be a TV actor. It's not a business for people who don't want other people to notice the way they look.

Going into acting is not a blanket pass for people to be unnecessarily negative toward them. There are a lot of actors that are not classically attractive, and people out here bitching about Tyler Posey's jaw would probably really miss them. People normally get into acting because they like to act. Some do it for the glamor or attention, but not all actors are also models. It's not a purely superficial profession and I'm sure many of them get into it not realizing their every physical flaw is going to be criticized and judged, under the umbrella of 'you chose to act, so obviously you wanted people to treat you like crap'.

What about non-actor, perfectly normal people who have crooked jaws and are reading this secret right now about how their faces are disturbing? :/

And I don't think actors should be judged by their physical appearances either, but by their acting abilities.
