He signed up to be a TV actor. It's not a business for people who don't want other people to notice the way they look.

Going into acting is not a blanket pass for people to be unnecessarily negative toward them. There are a lot of actors that are not classically attractive, and people out here bitching about Tyler Posey's jaw would probably really miss them. People normally get into acting because they like to act. Some do it for the glamor or attention, but not all actors are also models. It's not a purely superficial profession and I'm sure many of them get into it not realizing their every physical flaw is going to be criticized and judged, under the umbrella of 'you chose to act, so obviously you wanted people to treat you like crap'.
