One thing about disordered eating is that it's often about control, and not solely a response to a negative body image.

I don't think you have a serious problem, but you should consider why you're responding this way to a specific situation. Do you overeat because you're afraid of offending someone by not eating everything they offer you, and stay at the dinner table because leaving early (even if you're full) is seen as bad manners? There are other responses to these kinds of concerns, and it would be helpful to ask yourself why you choose to purge instead of saying "No" or leaving the table when you're getting full.
