dude. learn your history. if nothing else, reading about the insane amounts of wank involving Harmonians is HILARIOUS.

(Harmonians was the Harry / Hermione ship back in the day, and they thought that Harry and Ginny getting together was wrong and that Ginny was a slut, and everything was very stupid and overwrought on both sides, and it's all very hilarious in retrospect. Harry Potter fandom was fucking absurd)

If I had to pick my single favorite thing about fandom, my first choice would be...well, it would actually be hurt/comfort fic, but my second choice would be Harmonians. They are so fucking fascinating and enjoyable on every possible level that looking through their past wanks is like being a kid in a candy store.

Any recommendations? I know Harmonians by reputation, but I was never in their fandom and now that I think about it, I've never gone back and read any of their wanks. This now seems like a serious oversight in my fandom history education.

Oh geez, I don't remember off the top of my head. It's been so damn long. Google around I guess -- pretty easy to find. And I guess try the Harry Potter tag on the fandom_wank comm over on journalfen? There's some great stuff there.

The Msscribe Story also references some hysterical anti-Harry/Ginny (and just plain anti-Ginny) and pro-Harry/Hermione SRS BSNS ship wars.

I agree with the people that it's Sterek. I ship them myself but the amount of delusional from those people is astounding. Can't you just ship? Why does it have to be canon? Not that i would have anything against that, but just because there's certain fanservice going on doesn't mean it's going to be canon or "almost canon". Those people are just ridiculous.

... Well, as longs as there's a decent amount of good quality fic with a relatively low rating. Because horny!Cas doesn't seem right to me.
