I'm saying that sometimes you need to just live with the cards you're dealt, Christopher." and he's portrayed as a crazy guy who eats fetuses.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-27 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)I loved that episode with all my heart. I know Butters is just supposed to be silly and naive, but the "I think God must be a little bit gay too" speech was amazing.
I didn't even see the stem cell one as particularly in the "against" field. Maybe I am naive as Butters, but I just thought they were going with the perception held by those who are opposed to stem cell research. I generally consider the ones where they're taking a strong opinion to be the ones that invoke a serious emotional reaction, such as the boy's trying to get Kenny back in the Terri Schiavo episode.
