Feminism is effectively by definition colonialist unfortunately.

Any escape from that quickly descends into an incoherent assembly of disparate ideologies.

so...women trying to achieve equality with men is ~by definition colonialist~ now? methinks your definition of colonialism is perhaps a wee bit out of sync with the rest of the world.

It de-facto asserts the existence of an objective morality, which itself is tied heavily to rationalist enlightenment era thought, and any promotion of this is based upon the idea that it exists as a universal truth outside and above the boundaries of nation or culture.

This truth is one that needs to be imposed either through direct force, or cultural imperialism.

That's not an asspull, I would be interest on your thoughts about how one can have both cultural relativism with marks post-colonial discourse, and an over-riding universal feminist dialogue.

It's a serious problem leading to one of the notable ideological schisms between second and third wave feminism, and one of the greatest issues with the latter in retaining a unified concept of any meaning.

Intersectionality. It's a thing now.

Actually, I think your definition is a bit too in-sync with the common dictionary as opposed to the common theoretical understanding.
