(Anonymous) 2012-10-28 02:35 am (UTC)(link)Sure, that pairing is pretty much endgame. But do you really need to bash it? You could just say they have a close friendship and leave it at that. But nope, people feel the need to bash it or call the girl a whore/annoying/clingy/screechy. :/

I actually had a lot of fun with tackling why my character would leave A, how he'd feel about it, how the new relationship would change his outlook, why he was ready for it, what that would make awkward, etc.
But too often people ship one pairing and scoff at another and "get it out of the way" rather than let their character have... actual feelings about his (or her) past.
