Honestly, OP, you'd have a better chance at getting what you want [presumably a kid who understands bullying is wrong, and how to handle being bullied/someone else being bullied] by using instances like that as a moment to teach your kid *why* bullying is wrong, and what to do about it. It'll also help prepare you to do that when you kid comes home from school and mentions something that happened that was problematic, because that *will* happen at some point.
