Did you get a new computer with Win8? Based on previews, I'm not very impressed.

yeah my old computer broke a couple days ago and since repairs would have costs almost as much as a new one I just opted to get a whole new machine.

It's just a very, very confusing setup. I'm sure it's not bad... it's just... different.

Why would you get a Windows 8? D:

I tested it a few days ago and it was horrible (well, more like annoying). I'm thinking Windows is gonna lose so many customers because of this. (I mean, the reason I still use Windows is because I'm used to the old system and know how to change it to suit my needs.)

I guess it's better than Mac, but still...

my old computer broke so I had to get a new one, and the Win8 machines were actually a better value money-wise (more power etc)... which is important since I'm really strapped for cash right now.
I've been playing with it for a few hours now and I think I'm starting to get a feel for it. It's confusing as hell though. And I don't think I really like not having a choice whether I want to use an app for something or just launch it from my browser (like netflix)

save up and buy a copy of win7 and install that and uninstall 8. you'll be glad you did.

Do you think we should get the older Windows system? I think we need to get a new computer soon, and I just don't like how Windows 8 is design, blagh!
