Realistically, is this too much sex for 30-somethings?

So, I'm working on this story that is coming out much pornier than I originally anticipated. In fact, the ratio of smut to substance is quite enormous, and I'm wondering if this is just all together too much sex to be believable for a healthy, fit couple between, say, 33 and 36.

Here it is:
1. Guy comes home after a bad day -- they have angsty sex, with him doing most of the work before going and angsting some more on the fire escape.

2. During his fire escape angsting, they talk about the source of his angstiness until she initiates a comfort blow, which turns into comfort sex that he pretty much just has to sit there for.

3. Because fire escapes are nasty, they retreat to the shower...where they get very...clean. Lot of masturbation here, probably not to completion (at least for him) before they hilariously lose all the hot water.

4. In a much better mood after sexy fun shower times, they head to the bedroom for some sweet, sweet lovemaking (preceded by what I'm hoping is some hotty mchot oral for her).

I'm not terribly worried about it being too much sex for her, but does that seem realistic for him? I mean, there's got to be some recovery time in there, I would think, and I didn't really plan for this to be an all day/all night affair.

It seems possible, but it depends on the person. During my first night with my ex-boyfriend, who was 32 at the time, we had sex around 3 or 4 times. We spaced it out a bit from around midnight to 5 or 6 am, with short naps in between.

Um. No? If you were aroused enough to do it that often then - it's not. I mean - if you're rubbing yourselves raw then you need to give it a rest but otherwise...have fun!
