I accidentally hit on a 16 year old the other day, and nearly cried when I found out he was 16. I'm not at an age yet where that's a huge age gap yet, but still.

If you don't mind my asking... how old are you? Because honestly? If it's just a legal thing, like you're 18 or something, I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of.

See, I don't think that it's that bad. Honestly? That's just a legal technicality. If you and the 16 year old you mentioned were 20 and 24 respectively? Nobody would bat an eye.

If that's all, I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of. My sister's dating a guy that's a few years older than she is (she's 19 and he's in his 20s somewhere) and they're getting on fine. And in defense of your hitting on a 16 year old, a lot of 16 year olds I know look older. Much older.

So lay off yourself, okay? You're not a horrible, creepy, icky pedo. You're normal.
