Re: Webcomics You've Dropped

It started by making fun of "tough guys" without being too negative, and then it branched out into other jokes (like the Pokemon ones), and then it just sort of became a story comic about her made-up Gary Stu character and his girlfriend and her platforming on what is or isn't "manly" or acceptable, and it just degraded really fast.
Penny Arcade can still be funny, but only occasionally. Too often it's used as either a phony attempt to do some kind of "real" art with a short storyline, or just stops referencing video games altogether. The best comics are the one-shot ones about video games, not the little quasi-storylines.
