Very mushy and essentially the same story. Granted, Miyazaki enjoys taking plots/characters from other works (Earthsea, Howl, etc.) so his works obviously have more variety but... eh... after you've seen one Makoto Shinkai, you've seen them all.

Unless you like the scenery. The scenery is god-tier, I will give him that.
