I turn into a bucket of tears every time I watch that scene where Nani sings to Lilo. They've only got each other and she's trying to explain that they'll be separated and Lilo's too young and doesn't fully understand. And Stitch and the ugly duckling book too...

The scene where Nani is singing is just heart breaking. The thought of them being broken up just killed me when I watched it when I was younger. It's even more sad because Bubbles isn't even really a bad guy in this situation. He's not a villain trying to separate Nani and Lilo for the sake of being malicious. He's just a guy doing his job. He genuinely cares about Lilo's welfare and judging from what he's seen of their situation, he actually had legitimate reasons to believe that it may not have been in Lilo's best interest to remain with Nani. Of course it was such a relief to see him change his mind
