I always just get annoyed because fs doesn't get my clever jokes. Or they think they're funny but misunderstand the jokes. :(

As I was saying in an e-mail today I'm always at my funniest and smartest on my brother's Facebook wall but none of his friends get my jokes and most of them thought I made up the word 'invigorating'. And they never get my slyly clever references. Then on F!S I'm like that weird kid in the lunchroom who is nice but thinks armpit farts are the height of comedy.

Probably because wank is easy, clever is hard.

I find most trolls are really lazy. They just want to dive in, start a bruhaha with as little effort on their part as possible and then just sit back and watch the chaos unfold.

Which is unfortunate because the ones who put time and effort into it are normally the most interesting and funny.

And it is that sort who started this whole thing called "trolling." They are the troll ancestry, so to speak, and the current generation might as well be defiling them and spitting upon their graves with how mediocre they are.

It's a shame, really. Even ten years ago, the majority of trolls were more fun. They were subtle and insidious; it could take dozens of posts before anyone realized that they were being had. I miss those times.

Yeah, I know someone who did the skilled stuff but they quit a while ago. Their work was.. interesting, to say in the least.

Mhmm, you might get stuff like that now-a-days but it's much more rare.

Then again, I have to say, I'm not advocating any of the witty stuff that was actually harmful to people. But a lot of the stuff that wasn't? Those were a good read.

Because it's hard to be clever and funny.
