Oh my god, my roommate and I had the biggest arguments about irregardless. Mostly in fun, but I would get pretty serious about. He, also mostly in fun, likes to use...longer, less popular words that are still in the dictionary, in order to "bring them back" or something, while I think they should remain less popular. His favorite is ironical instead of ironic, with irregardless a close second.

He's actually in Austria for the next year, and I miss him so much.

I have a friend who says this all the time and it drives me bananas.

Especially since she knows it drives me nuts and she does it intentionally.
