7. Not this again. Fanart icon just BECAUSE. When you've got no art of your favorite character, what the hell are you supposed to do? And don't give me that "draw your own." Not all of us are gifted with super-speshul art skillxorz.

Re 7: Or you could... not make an icon? Or.... just credit the artist? You're not entitled to other people's stuff, and if you do, you can at least credit.

Oh, I credit! I've got a whole list in my iconjournal, and I don't post a lot of fanart icons over there. They're more for my personal use.

Ah, sorry, what I meant was credit in the icon info... whenever I see an icon with fantastic art, I go to that person's profile icon page to see what series/artist it came from, and I'm often disappointed when I can't find that info out. Sorry for the confusion.

Ohhh, I discovered very quickly that a lot of URLs are too long to fit, which is why I try to have a source for everything and just stick it in a post that I link to in the userinfo my iconjournal.
