L-LUFIA 2 SECRET?!
Dekar is so amazingly awesome, I seriously think he made the game AWESOME when he had his epic return. I cried tears of happiness at the age of 11. ;_; (I wish they would remake that game sometimes. It's so beautiful.)

Dekar is one of my most favorite game characters ever. Hell, Lufia's such a damn awesome series. More people need to play. II made me cry on three separate occasions. D:

#22, I can't speak for your friends, but maybe they laughed because it just surprised them. If they still get on your case about it though, just ignore it. We all have our hobbies. Like you, I come across as a focused and serious person, so when people learn some of my hobbies they laugh. Most people don't mean to come across like that, I don't think. It is a bit disconcerting though.

But I'm scared they'll get all huffy if I ask to talk about something else instead of their OTPs in some fandom I don't care for :

3. Pixar movies, ugh. Am I the only person who doesn't spend $3045403546546 on whenever they come out with because its, "One of those great family movies with 3D talking animals/inanimate objects."

*raises hand* I don't! I might enjoy some of these 3D movies from Pixar and Dreamworks and whatnot--I have a big soft spot for Shrek. But at most? I own the movies.

It depends on what your show's creator(s) think(s) about fandom! I mean, if they know about it and whatever crazy things happen in it, they might be cool with it. FOR EXAMPLE I play this minor character from a book series, and somehow my author FOUND OUT ABOUT ME and actually COMMENTED ON THE CHARACTER'S LJ. And it was on a post where I basically bitched about the lack of continuity. MORTIFICATION MAX.

So what I mean to say is you probably SHOULDN'T WORRY or something! Or maybe I'm trying to say that they already know about you and just haven't said anything. WHO KNOWS it's late and I'm tired.

I dunno, the show creators have a good sense of humor, but there are so many insane insane fans. I've had people offer to show my art to the creators, and there's evidence they even collect fanart, but I'm mortified of the prospect that they'll see it.

I know other people who have had good encounters with show creators, and I've had good ones in the past with actors and singers I've drawn for.

20. I kind of get what you're saying, at least some of the sentiments behind it. For instance, I really, really hate it when people on my own flist do these kinds of memes over and over and over again. Maybe they are insecure about how much they're loved, and I reply to some of the memes once or twice, but I can't be bothered to repeat myself beyond that. I should probably be more considerate. D: But I'm so fed up with other people's insecurity--if they're on my flist, it should go without saying that I already like them. Otherwise why would they be on my flist in the first place? (Thankfully, though, this is less of a problem than it was before.)
