If by 'full of yourself' you mean 'I think I look ok', then I wish more women were secretly full of themselves. Because honestly there aren't enough of us around.

I'll be honest, I completely agree with you about self respect and I think I look ok too, but the secret OP did come across pretty snooty with the way she worded that last paragraph.

"I think I look ok" shouldn't give anybody the right to say "I bet you're ugly" no matter how confident they might think they feel about their appearance. And in my experience, it's always been the ones who are less confident in themselves that resort to throwing out insults.
