This secret is talk about Coulson?

That was my guess. Coulson's an easy character for an underdog-lover to fall for, and it's a bit understandable that anon wouldn't realize (until stepping onto tumblr or...well, okay, anywhere on the internet) that he'd a beloved fandom favorite instead of just that background guy in a suit.

Considering the "ignoring flaws" part, I'm banking on it being Tony. He is ridiculously popular and probably has the most well-developed flaws, but I'm not sure how anyone could think he wasn't a popular character. :/

...why are we assuming it's The Avengers again?

Yeah, I was about to say you guys, why is it Avengers?

I assumed you two were thinking that somehow blue connected with him.

I guess that could be tessaract blue? Maybe? I don't know. I didn't jump to the Avengers conclusion either.

*snort* That was actually my first thought, but then for some reason I doubted that's who they meant. The "drowning any mention of the character's flaws" bit made me wonder what those flaws would have been, because canon-wise we don't get much to go on.

Maybe that's the principle flaw. E.g, "how can you be so into this character? We know next to nothing about him.!"
