no, I just worded the secret very badly.
I went to Japan expecting to really enjoy the history and culture, but for some reason, I didn't enjoy it. I travel a lot, and sometimes you like countries better than others. It's not that I hated it or anything, and it's not that it wasn't a good trip, or that there's not a lot to see, I just loved it a lot less than I loved other countries, and a lot less than I thought I would.
I spent 99% of the time in museums and temples, anyway.

But see, I'm not like you. I don't get wide eyed over cultural differences. It's interesting to see and to study about, but I don't get wide eyed. I've seen lots of different cultures, and many are interesting.
I didn't have time to go to Fuji - it was a relatively short trip. I wanted to go to a hotspring, but couldn't afford it. And I took many photos.

So how can I tell somebody like you that I "didn't like Japan"? There's no reason for it. I just didn't love it so much. You probably would. I hope you can go some day.

And on top of that, besides everything else, I couldn't even enjoy the anime very much, because I only like obscure things. So I couldn't even be a crazy fan about it.
