I guess the OP means Tony won't fuck Steve because Howard was a fanboy about Steve while neglectful towards Tony, so Tony would blame Steve for that or something? Which is a rationale that's all kinds of immature and incest-y.

I got that which is why I asked because... I do not remember that happening in movie canon. So did I forget something?

She's a bitch. In the non-dog sense. But I love her. Her personality is basically indistinguishable from Frasier Crane's.

I think this is one of those situations where a fanon theory takes hold so strongly that people forget it's just one out of a whole lot of possibilities regarding what really went down. It happens alarmingly often in Avengers fandom, imo.

I think that makes her adorable in my mind.

Yeah, I enjoy a lot of the fanon but at least I (and you too! high five!) can distinguish the two. Look, you don't wanna ship something, that's fine. But don't tell me one of my ships would "never work" because of some fanon stuff that I don't even see how it gets in the way anyway.

I was wondering about that as well: Howard must have been quite the obsessive crazy person then, to ignore his son for someone who would have been deep frosted for over 20 years at the time of his son's birth.

Well, in Iron Man 2 Tony alludes to the fact Howard was neglectful and never said he loved his son.

But it never goes into the reasons why.

It's implied it has to do with his work and Tony's future but there's nothing concrete. So we know he's obsessive, just not what he's obsessed about.

Could be Steve. Could be cookies. The world may never know.
