Honestly, if a song is done is a studio setting nowadays, it's almost guaranteed to be autotuned to some extent (yeah, even your indie bands, guys). It's too prevalent in the industry and has been for a while now. I personally dislike the overtly autotuned sound, but it's too prevalent in the industry to simply die off because people dislike it. When image is as important as it is in the music industry, looks and stage presence account for a hell of a lot more than musical talent these days.

This. You'd be hard-pressed to find a band that doesn't use ANY autotune at all anymore, I think. It's been around for quite a while.

Yes. I think people aren't listening if they aren't hearing it. It's fucking everywhere. And once I start to hear it on a vocal, it snags me over and over on the same pitches for the rest of the song.
